36 personnes sont toujours portées disparues, à la suite d’un éboulement survenu hier jeudi dans un site d’orpaillage à Lourgou (Komondjari), selon l’AIB vendredi.
Un éboulement s’est produit sur le site aurifère de Lourgou dans la commune de Foutouri dans la province de la Komondjari.
Selon des informations concordantes, le drame s’est produit le jeudi 14 septembre 2017 aux environs de 11h.
Jointe au téléphone, une autorité locale précise que l’éboulement dont les circonstances ne sont pas encore connues, a occasionné plus d’une trentaine de disparus.
« 36 personnes qui ont déposé leurs cartes avant de rentrer dans le trou n’ont pas répondu à l’appel. Jusqu’ à vendredi soir, on est sans nouvelles d’eux », confie-t-elle avant de souligner les difficultés liées au litige entre le Burkina Faso et le Niger autour de la zone.
En rappel, le site aurifère de Lourgou situé à 205 km au Nord-Est de Fada-N’Gourma fait l’objet de litige où des FDS nigériens y ont pris position depuis quelques jours, à en croire le maire de la commune de Foutouri, M. Kanfideni Lompo.
«Au dernières nouvelles une personne extirpée des décombres et encore sous le choc, a confié qu’il y a beaucoup de gens dans le trou. Certains sont morts, d’autres sont encore en vie. j’ai demandé aux populations de redoubler d’efforts pour sauver ceux qui peuvent encore l’être», ajouté M.Lompo.
